The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Italy hit 5,9138 on March 23. Dr. Rodolfo Ferrari works at the entrance of a triage structure installed outside the Hospital S. Maria della Scaletta, taking samples from people's noses and mouths to analyze.

If someone's result is negative, he can go home. Otherwise, he is immediately admitted. This can avert overloading the hospital, which is already full.
