Located in a water park named Wave Park in Siheung, southwest of Seoul, the artificial wave pool is the world's largest, measuring 220 meters long and 240 meters wide. /CFP

According to its operator, the pool can produce waves as high as 2.4 meters every 8 seconds and accommodate a maximum of 150 surfers per hour. /CFP

The blueprint of the massive leisure complex also includes eco science park, shop streets and other water sports. They are expected to be completed by the end of 2025. /CFP
