CGTN Digital's second International Nature Photography Contest has closed. We eventually selected six works from hundreds of submissions and awarded the authors. But we still want to share other interesting nature photos and concept from the winners and candidates. The number of awards is limited, while sharing other great works is not.
As a professor in the School of Arts and Design at Heibei Normal University, Jiang Tieqi has his own artistic style. Jiang took the first and third prize in this year's contest with his works Love Story of Winter and Black Storks in China.

All the submissions by Jiang are like Chinese paintings, mainly incorporating birds, rivers and mist to convey a poetic feeling.
Black Storks in China
The kingfisher, mallards, wild ducks and black storks in Jiang's works were all photographed in Jingxing County of Hebei Province. Located in the foothills of the Taihang Mountains, the county used to rely on mining to develop its economy. After shutting down hundreds of coal yards and mine companies, local ecology has greatly recovered during these years.
