China Post, China's national postal service provider, on Sunday issued a set of commemorative stamps in celebration of the 110th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution that toppled China's last imperial dynasty of Qing (1644-1911).

The stamp depicts the scene of the revolutionaries' fight to overthrow feudal rule during the Wuchang Uprising. The armed rebellion took place in today's Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, marking the beginning of the historic 1911 Revolution, also known as the Xinhai Revolution. The images on the stamp highlight vivid characters, reflecting the fierce war and the fearless spirits of the revolutionaries.

The postage value of each stamp is 1.20 yuan (about $0.2). China Post plans to issue a total of 6.7 million sets of the commemorative stamps.

One-hundred-and-ten years ago, Chinese revolutionaries led by Dr Sun Yat-sen launched the 1911 Revolution, a milestone in the long and arduous journey to realize the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
