Squirrels are our neighbors in the city, but how much do you know about them? Do you know that they eat flowers, fruits or even mushrooms? Do you know that they have ups and downs in lives just like us?
In Beijing, we can commonly see four types of squirrels, which are Siberian chipmunks, Chinese rock squirrels, Eurasian red squirrels and Pallas's squirrels. Zhang Yu, a natural history illustrator, has observed squirrels in Beijing for over 20 years and loves recording their secret lives through drawings and photos.
