China welcomes the friendly remarks made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on China-Russia relations and stressed that there is no limit on bilateral cooperation, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Friday.
Putin held his annual press conference on Thursday. During the presser, he spoke highly of the fruitful relations between Russia and China and his good personal relations with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Affirming Putin's remarks, Zhao said that the leaders of the two sides have always been supporting each other and steering the development of the bilateral ties and their cooperation since 2013.
Thanks to the high-level exchanges, China-Russia relations have become a model for major country relations with a highest level of mutual trust, coordination and strategic values.

Stressing that there is no limit for China-Russia relations, Zhao said that China is ready to continue pushing forward the comprehensive and mutual beneficial cooperation between the two sides to further facilitate their national development as well as to share opportunities for common development with other countries.
Speaking of Putin's forthcoming visit to Beijing for the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Zhao said that he believes the Russian president's visit would continue deepening the personal friendship between the two leaders and inject new impetus for the development of China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.
