Housing tens of thousands of bamboos and various plants, the Purple Bamboo Park stands in western Beijing. It is the only park in the city that boasts stretching bamboo views. Over the decades, people in general would presume that the park's reputation was built on its bamboo scenery. Few know it earned the name due to its imperial connections.
