Colombian entrepreneur and content creator Fernando Munoz Bernal has been living in China since 2000 after he graduated from the University of Texas. As he sees it, the Chinese Dream emerges after one's basic needs are satisfied and the government creates the conditions that allow citizens to chase their own dreams. Accordingly, the government's success in eliminating extreme poverty has been crucial to achieving the dream. "I think that the dream of almost every Chinese person I have ever met in my 22 years here is to find the true potential in their lives," he said.
