Pentagon documents have revealed that the United States' drone wars around the world have been marked by "deeply flawed intelligence" and "faulty targeting" that resulted in the deaths of more than 1,000 civilians over the last decade, according to a New York Times investigation. Nonetheless, no American military personnel have ever been charged or punished, and the victims still have no path to justice.

Brandon Bryant is a former U.S. Air Force drone pilot who enlisted in 2005. He signed up for the army with the intention of getting educated, but instead was ordered to attack civilians from the air. Bryant's superior told him that his job was to kill people and break things.
