The Summit of the Group of 77 (G77) plus China was held at the Palace of Conventions in Havana, Cuba, on Friday and Saturday, gathering delegations from more than 100 countries. The G77 is a group of developing countries first established in 1964. Today, the bloc brings together 134 member countries, or over two-thirds of UN member countries.
CGTN Stringer caught up with several locals on the streets of Havana to find out what they think about the summit and what they expect from future cooperation between Cuba and China. "I hope Cuba and China will strengthen cooperation in the fields of culture and renewable energy, which is the basis for sustainable development," said a local resident.
