Thirty-two-year-old Saeid comes from Iran. He is a physical education teacher, instructor and Kurash coach who has studied martial arts like Kurash and judo since he was 10. He was invited to China in early 2023 to train Chinese athletes.
"I found China's Kurash performers to be highly talented at acquiring Kurash. I think it is deeply rooted in China's culture of caring martial arts for all ages. I also discovered China's athletes are very hardworking," he said.
