In the mystic Dulong River Valley, the snow-capped mountain lives side-by-side with the lush rainforest. With an elevation drop of over 4,500 meters from the highest to the lowest point, the Dulong River Valley in southwest China's Yunnan Province is a fantastic biodiversity hotspot. About one tenth of over 2,000 seed plants in the valley are solely found here.
This unique geographical location, together with the influence of warm and humid air from Bay of Bengal, make around 300 rainy days in a year. That's why the moist fog can be seen most of the time in the valley.
