As International Labor Day and China's Youth Day approached, CGTN invited youths from five countries—Poland, Russia, China, Armenia and Belarus – to talk about their expectations for their careers.
Arina, an Armenian student at Ningbo University, shares her thoughts on career aspirations with CGTN, as well as her perceptions on how technology might impact job prospects. Arina can speak Russian, Armenian, English and a little Mandarin. She is interested in a career that allows her to use language skills and help people connect across cultures. In terms of technology's impact on future job prospects, she finds that AI and automation are changing the game today. However, Arina believes there are certain skills that machines can't replace, such as creativity, empathy and critical thinking.
