Chinese President Xi Jinping paid state visits to France, Serbia and Hungary from May 5 to 10, his first trip to Europe in nearly five years. The trip was of great significance to the overall development of China-Europe relations, injecting new impetus into world peace and development. CGTN European stringers conducted interviews with residents and experts in neighboring countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy and Bulgaria to get their views on the Chinese president's visit to Europe.
