The exhibition was co-hosted by the Shanghai Central Bureau of CMG, Shanghai Administration of Sports, and the Shanghai Federation of Literature and Art.
The art exhibition in Shanghai is one of the series of cultural and sports activities of a previous grand exhibition in Paris, titled "From Beijing to Paris: Olympic Tour of Chinese and French Artists," that was jointly organized by CMG, the French National Olympic and Sports Committee, and the Ligue de Football Professionnel and several French art organizations.
In Shanghai, the exhibition contains two main sections: "Encounter with the Olympics" and "Walking with the Art," showcasing 68 art pieces from 62 renowned Chinese artists, as well as 11 collections from the Shanghai Sports Museum.

The "Encounter with the Olympics" section mainly showcases the connection between the Olympics and Shanghai. Shanghai proposed to bid for the Olympics 79 years ago. Nowadays, Shanghai hosts the world's elite sporting events.
The "Walking with the Art" section fully continues the exhibition style of the previous Paris-based exhibition. The artworks encompass various art forms such as Chinese painting, calligraphy, and oil painting, demonstrating the commonality of sports and art as important components of human culture.
Through the complementary beauty of sports and art, the exhibition presents the natural charm, dynamic rhythm, and nostalgic memories, showcasing the harmony between the beauty of nature and the beauty of art.

The art exhibition in Shanghai features a special section called the "Letters between IOC and CMG". These letters bear witness to the successful cooperation between both sides, showcasing CMG's innovative integration of "thought + art + technology" and its active dissemination of Olympic culture. It highlights the fruitful results of this endeavor and the strong support and high appreciation from the IOC towards CMG.

A specially crafted calligraphy piece ingeniously incorporates the sporting career and Chinese name of IOC President Thomas Bach. It conveys the heartfelt blessings from CMG and the artists to the Olympic athletes at the Paris Olympics and to the IOC for its remarkable contributions.
