South Africa is renowned as one of the world's famous plant kingdoms, with over 18,000 species of plants, many of which are unique to the region. The flora in South Africa is predominantly coniferous, and the region is also rich in succulent plant resources.

About Unboxing Africa Series
The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) is a collective dialogue mechanism between China and African countries. The forum aims to promote equality, mutual benefit and understanding, strengthen friendships, expand consensus, and foster cooperation. The forum's members include China, 53 African countries that have diplomatic relations with China, and the African Union Commission. The 2024 FOCAC Summit will take place in Beijing from September 4 to 6, with members from across the diverse and biologically rich continent of Africa.
