The inauguration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is set to take place on January 20, and the policy direction of his second term is drawing considerable attention. CGTN Stringer recently spoke with an American living in China. Taylor Dopuch teaches at an international school in Beijing and has been in China with his family for a year and a half. He chose to come to China because it offered better job opportunities for him and educational opportunities for his children.
As Trump's second presidential term approaches, Dopuch expresses concern about the future of U.S.-China relations. He says that if the U.S. imposes tariffs on China, it could lead to tensions between the two countries, as many products purchased in the U.S. come from China. He also points out that the U.S. market will face price fluctuations, with the prices of many products rising, putting more pressure and burden on American residents.
