At least 63 people were injured and over 600,000 people have been affected by the disaster. The DMC said 1,505 houses had been fully damaged while 7,617 houses were partially damaged due to the floods and landslides. At least 83,200 people are seeking shelter in safe locations and many are still unable to return home.

The country’s Irrigation Department has announced that river water levels declined in the past 24 hours, due to the lower rainfall.
