The DPRK’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) says the country has no intention of restarting a dialogue with the United States if the White House continues hostile policies towards Pyongyang.
The KCNA said the US blamed the DPRK for the failure of bilateral talks as a pretext for imposing economic and military sanctions.
The US and DPRK reached an agreement in 1994, under which Pyongyang froze its nuclear program in exchange for a normalization of relations. The DPRK has however since resumed nuclear efforts, leading to sanctions by the international community.
