CGTN Nature: Mount Fanjing Series | Episode 5: Millennium Crapemyrtle

The common crapemyrtle is a small arbor species native to China. However, this specimen reaches over 30 meters during its lifespan of nearly 1,400 years. It is thus worshiped as a holy tree by the villagers of Ziwei Town. "Ziwei" means crapemyrtle in Chinese.
