World Pangolin Day: Let's call for better protection

Pangolins are mammals of the order Pholidota. It has eight species, half of which are found in Africa, and the other half in Asia. Pangolins play a critical role in the ecosystem. Today, pangolins are believed to be the most trafficked mammal in the world. All pangolin species are listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered.

On World Pangolin Day, let's call for better protection of this endangered animal.
