14th Five-Year Plan and vision for 2035

The fifth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC will be held from Monday to Thursday in Beijing.

According to the meeting agenda, the proposals for formulating the 14th Five-Year (2021-2025) Plan for Economic and Social Development and future targets for 2035 will be assessed during the fifth plenary session.

Since 1953, China has formulated and implemented 13 five-year plans. The upcoming 14th FYP is attracting a lot of attention as it will be the first such plan after China accomplishes building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and realizes its first centennial goal this year.

China has opened the doors to suggestions from the public on the 14th Five-Year Plan, allowing anyone to submit opinions or ideas online.
