The long-tailed tits are tiny birds. They have a round body with a short bill and a very long, narrow tail. It's one of the common forest birds and usually lives in coniferous forests or mixed coniferous broad-leaved forests. The bird is commonly found in mountainous areas of northeast China. Long-tailed tits like to gather together, and sometimes they can form large groups, including 100 birds in winter. During winter nights, they usually stay close to each other in order to reduce heat loss.
