Wang Yongsheng became an ecological forest ranger in Shangfang Village in Yuexi County, east China's Anhui Province, in 2015. Over the past few years, he has witnessed how barren mountains in his hometown have turned green and how tourism has benefited residents. He was also helped out of poverty in 2017 thanks to his job as a forest ranger.
