The Himalayan swiftlet got its Chinese name from its short, golden beak and golden strings in its wings. Boasting its special acoustic positioning system, the bird knows exactly where it is going in the pitch-dark cave.

In the Shennongjia Series, we present the special climate and stunning views of this region, as well as the inhabiting precious flora and fauna unique to China.
