Wang Maojun plants turnjujube makes and jujube wine in his hometown, Xunyang County of Ankang City in northwest China's Shaanxi. He used to believe that only big cities have opportunities, but then learned more about the turnjujube fruit.
The turnjujube is very common in Xunyang. It is one of the oldest fruits on Earth. The First Emperor of China named it "longevity fruit" as it is good for the liver and other organs with multiple functions. Wang saw a business opportunity hiding in the turnjujube-planting industry, resigned from his job in the city and returned to his hometown to plant the fruit – and became successful. He is now known as the "Turnjujube king" by the villagers.
