The western black-crested gibbons, with their various distinct calls, have become special singers in the Wuliang Mountains of southwest China's Yunnan Province. The seniors of local villages say that wherever you can hear the roar of the gibbons, people will be endowed with a mild weather without natural disasters. Forest ranger Xiong Youfu has been teaching his son to recognize and mimic these calls, in order to better protect the precious animal. Watch this episode to learn more about the story between humans and the gibbons.
