The 31st International University Sports Federation (FISU) World University Games are set to close today in southwest China's Chengdu City after 12 days of fierce competition. A total of 6,500 athletes from 113 countries and regions competed in 269 events across 18 sports. The Chengdu Universiade served not only as a stage for pursuing sports dreams, but also a window for the world to understand China. As the home of athletes during the Games, Chengdu Universiade Village became the most convenient window for delegations to understand and experience the Chinese culture and Sichuan culture.
