Central Africa primarily includes countries such as the Central African Republic, Chad, Cameroon, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The region covers a total area of about 5.36 million square kilometers, with a large and diverse population representing various ethnic groups and cultures. The natural environment in Central Africa is incredibly rich and varied. The northern part of the region consists mainly of dry tropical savanna, characterized by hot weather and low rainfall, providing a haven for large herbivores like zebras, giraffes and wildebeests, as well as a hunting ground for apex predators such as lions and cheetahs. As you move south, the landscape gradually transitions into tropical rainforests. Central Africa is also a globally significant area for mineral and forest resources, boasting abundant reserves of gold, diamonds, timber and other natural resources.
