In the last episode, a young vulture died from a combination of extreme weather and injuries. But its parents are not giving up.

February temperatures on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China can dip to minus 40 degrees Celsius when the air becomes very thin.

But even in such harsh conditions, life thrives.

This July, join CGTN exploring the secret lives of the Himalayan vultures living on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the highest plateau in the world with an average elevation of more than 4,000 meters. Parts of the plateau span southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province in the country's northwestern region.
