Editor's note: "Hidden World of Birds in City" is about exploring a world of birds that usually goes unnoticed in urban spaces. This episode features photographs from Wang Xiaobo, who has been bird-watching near his residential community in Beijing for the past eight years.

As the first mass bird migration has drawn to the conclusion, the number of Wang's observed bird species dropped sharply, too, but there are still some of the unexpected that brings the joy to this scorching summer. For example, the daurian starling, the species that is even rare to see in Beijing appeared in the community this year.
