We know flowers come in different shapes and many times we are amazed by the power of nature. For example, the flying duck orchid resembles a flying bird and carnivore plants feed on insects. There is another interesting plant called Spiranthes sinensis, which has flowers twisted in a spiral.
Commonly known as the Chinese spiranthes, the plant is a species of orchid. It mainly grows in Asia including China, Mongolia, Japan, Afghanistan, India, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries. The flowers are usually purple-red, pink or white, which blossom during July and August.
The plant is also used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat fatigue and kidney diseases.
