Wei Guoliang is the first college student of Yalei Village, Bakai Town, Rongjiang County in southwest China's Guizhou Province. A few years after graduating, he made the decision to quit his city career and return home to start raising hornets. His technique eventually evolved and his income gradually increased after numerous failures and defeats. Since then, he has inspired his village fellows to join his business, thus helping them get rid of poverty.
